7 April: Aasmah will report live from Orkney for BBC1’s centenary of the Battle of Jutland on 31 May. The programme will be presented by David Dimbleby.

25 February: Aasmah will present an edition of The Why Factor for the BBC World Service, to be broadcast on 18 March.

23 February: Aasmah will appear again as a guest on ITV’s ‘The Agenda’ in April (date tbc)

20 February: Aasmah will film her next report for the Tonight programme in March, to be broadcast on ITV at 7.30pm on Thursday 23 June.

July 2015: Aasmah is now on maternity leave until September.

11 May: Aasmah will appear for a third time on ITV’s ‘Agenda’ alongside guest Tristram Hunt. 10.40pm on ITV, 11.10 STV.

18 April: Aasmah will report for ITV’s overnight election programme on 7 May from the Glasgow counts, followed by an appearance on ‘Good Morning Britain’ from Glasgow the following morning, 8th May.

16 April: Aasmah will be a guest on ‘The Agenda’ on ITV alongside Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander. 10.40pm on ITV, 11.10 STV

1 Jan: Aasmah will compete on the next series of ‘Celebrity Mastermind’ with John Humphrys. The episode will be broadcast on 3rd January on BBC1 at 5.35pm. In Scotland, the episode goes out on Friday 9th January at 7.30pm.

10 October: Aasmah will be one of the guests on ‘The Agenda‘ along with the Prime Minister David Cameron on ITV on Monday 13th October at 10.35pm.

3 September: STV announces Aasmah will co-present the overnight independence referendum results programme with Bernard Ponsonby on Thursday 18th September, from 10.40pm to 6am the next day. The programme will be broadcast across the UK on ITV. More details here.


1 September: Aasmah has been confirmed as the new co-presenter of ‘Saturday Live’ on Radio 4, alongside Richard Coles. More about the programme here.

22 August: Aasmah’s next report for ITV’s Tonight programme will be broadcast on Thursday 4th September at 7.30pm. “The Shape of Things To Come” will examine the problem of obesity in young women.
